Orr’s Island – Marguerite Lydia “Marge” Howell, age 65 years went to be home with the Lord, after a long hard-fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Except for devoting her time to the birth of her son and caring for her family, Marge worked in banking for most of her life and was Manager of International Collections at Heritage Bank in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who had a wonderful gift for hospitality.  She enjoyed hosting people in her home as well as made people feel at home wherever she went.

She was also a devoted member of the Berean Baptist Church in Brunswick, where she volunteered for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John Howell, Sr; her son, John, Jr and his wife, Laurie; her two grandsons, Lane and John Joseph, VI; her sister, Betty McKemey, along with several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
