Bright Night Bath on Dec. 14 will feature a fire sculpture where marshmallows can be roasted in a snowman’s heart, carolers, a brass band and late hours for downtown Bath shops and restaurants. New this year is “Pop Up with a Purpose; give the gift of community” at City Hall, where people support local nonprofits with a gift membership or donation.

Leave the kiddos at grandma’s or find them a playdate … Studio Theatre of Bath calls Twisted Christmas “A festive evening full of stress-busting, mood-lifting unpredictable comic relief for grownups.” Tickets to the 8 p.m. show at Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St. in Bath are $15 at the door or online at www.studiotheatreofbath.com.
