BIDDEFORD — Alan Loignon II, 30, of Biddeford died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

He was born in Biddeford on Nov. 27, 1988 the son of Alan and Jane (Weston) Loignon.

Alan graduated from Biddeford High school in 2007. Alan was an amazing athlete. He especially excelled at wrestling; he was a two-time state champ and second runner up in New England as a high school junior for the 160-pound weight class.

Alan was an amazing father, husband, son, brother uncle and friend.  Loved by all; he was a hard worker and an amazing provider and family man. Alan was predeceased by his father Alan in 2006 and his brother Trevor Loignon in 2016.

Surviving are: his wife Kristina Huff, his daughters Alexzandria and Anastazia Loignon, all of Old Orchard Beach; his mother Jane Weston of Limington; a brother Shawn Purvis and his wife Cheryl of Scarborough; a sister Cassie Loignon of Limington; two uncles, Keith Loignon and his wife Maureen of Dayton and Tony Loignon and his wife Odelle of Biddeford; an aunt Linda Loignon Sylvain and her husband Ben of Epping, New Hampshire; three nephews  Anthony Purvis, Ricky Huff and Blaine Moulton; and two nieces Kelsey Cushman and Olivia Olin.

Visiting Hours will 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations for his daughters’ education.
