BIDDEFORD — Michael Paul Nadeau, 58, of Biddeford passed Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough, with his loving family by his side.

Born July 20, 1960 in Biddeford, a son of Lucien and Simone (Tanguay) Nadeau, Michael was a graduate of Biddeford High School in 1978.

Michael started working at Southern Maine Health Care as a patient transporter and advanced his education to become a pharmacy technician until his health made it difficult for him to work, after 27 years with the hospital.

Along with many passions, Michael had volunteering as his favorite, spending countless hours at the Salvation Army. He also enjoyed performing in plays such as Carousel that was held at the Biddeford City Theater in 1991. Michael was a member of the Tri-City Chorus and the Harbor Singers.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lucien and Simone, and four infant siblings.

Michael is survived by a sister, Dorothy Tousignant of Saco; brothers Donald Nadeau and wife Kathleen of Belleville, Illinois and Raymond Nadeau of Biddeford; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and support given to Michael at both Maine Medical Hospital and especially at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

Adhering to Michael’s wishes there are no calling hours. A private Mass of Christian Burial, for family only, will be held at St. Ann Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
