KENNEBUNK — In conjunction with the Brick Store Museum’s colorful “Tea Time” exhibition, showing through February, is a new winter activity: a tea tasting at the museum.
Ray Marcotte, owner of Dobra Tea in Portland, will serve a tasting of many different teas. The event will take place during the “Tea Time” exhibition from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27.
Marcotte will review green, yellow, white, oolong, black and pu’er teas, how the teas are made, and tea history, while offering tastings of each tea, with cookies.
The program is co-sponsored by the Brick Store Museum and Dobra Tea.
Tickets are $12 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Brick Store Museum’s front desk, by calling 985-4802, or by visiting www.brickstoremuseum.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
