OGUNQUIT —To honor Ogunquit’s long-standing history as an artists’ colony and showcase the local artists in the community today, Clay Hill Farm — together with TaleSpinStudios in Ogunquit, launched the #VerandART Project last spring.
The local artist outreach program features a new painter every six to eight weeks at Clay Hill Farm and their collection is hung in the Veranda Room for the public to view and enjoy. When recently freshening up his collection at Clay Hill Farm, current featured artist, Paul Noël, asked if a charitable component could be introduced into the project.
With a resounding ‘YES’, Clay Hill Farm agreed, and a percentage of proceeds from every piece of art sold from the #VerandArt Project will now go to a local cause.
“We are thrilled to infuse this project with giving back, “ said Jennifer Lewis of Clay Hill Farm- co-founder of the #VerandART Project. “This project is all about community and collaboration- giving back brings it to the next level. We are so grateful to Paul for getting the ball rolling.” The Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick will be the charitable recipient of a percentage of Noël’s art sales during his featured time at Clay Hill Farm.
Noel’s ‘Inspirations’ collection can be viewed at Clay Hill Farm through mid-March. A percentage of every painting sold during this time will be donated to the Center of Wildlife in Cape Neddick.

An interior designer most of his adult life, local artist Paul Noël dreamed of one day becoming an accredited fine artist and fully exploring the creative and artistic side of his nature. Having studied locally with several well-known artists and abroad at the Academie de Port Royale in Paris, he and one other student received a ‘Prix Special’ award for their exhibit, a first in the Academie’s history.
From that moment on, Noël was filled with a newfound spirit and quiet confidence that continues to flow through his beautiful landscapes and stills.
Clay Hill Farm is an experiential dining and event venue on 11 private acres in Cape Neddick just two miles from the downtown Ogunquit. A certified environmental sanctuary committed to local outreach, Clay Hill Farm is proud to celebrate the natural beauty of Maine by supporting the arts in our community.
Local artist, Amy Kelly, of TalespinStudio in Ogunquit is the curator and co-founder of the project.
The Center for Wildlife is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to build a sustainable future for wildlife in our community through medical treatment, rehabilitation, educational outreach, research, and conservation activities.
