Sanford City Council said a fond farewell to Sherry Lord, who has been the executive assistant to the city manager for many years, at their meeting on Feb. 5. After 18 years working for the city, Lord ‘s last day was Feb. 8. She has accepted a position as senior executive assistant to the president of Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire.
