AUGUSTA — The Maine Department of Transportation has released its three-year work plan for local transportation projects from 2019 through 2021.

The estimated value of work in the plan totals more than $2.44 billion and encompasses 2,193 projects across the state.

The work plan includes more than $1.4 billion in highway, bridge and multi-modal capital work, nearly $1.2 billion in highway and bridge projects and nearly $297 million in multi-modal capital projects.

“I believe that maintaining our infrastructure is one of the most important functions of state government,” Woodsome said. “I would like to thank the Maine Department of Transportation for prioritizing these projects that are vital to our safety and our economic success in York County.”
