LEWISTON — Olivia Sandford of Kennebunk participated in the fall 2018 Bates College Junior Semester Abroad program.

Sandford, who is majoring in environmental studies at Bates, studied in Denmark through the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, Copenhagen.

She is the daughter of Rachel and Erik Murer of Kennebunk, and Bernard G. Sandford of Brighton, Massachusetts, and is a 2016 graduate of Kennebunk High School.
