TOPSHAM– The Maine Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that work on an Interstate 295 bridge in Topsham will reduce traffic to one lane.

The department states that maintenance work has begun on the bridge spanning the Androscoggin River in. The work, a bridge joint repair, will require traffic to be reduced to one lane.

The project is slated be completed by April 5 and is being performed by Wyman and Simpson of Richmond.

MaineDOT reminds motorists to obey all posted speed limits in construction zones.
