Lyle Merrifield, of Merrfield Farm in Gorham, monitors maple syrup in the farm’s sugarhouse Tuesday. Merrifield said the farm typically producers 200 gallons of maple syrup a year, but it’s about three weeks behind schedule this year due to the weather.
