4/28 at 11:13 p.m. Keith Kent, 43, of Pownal Road, Auburn, was arrested by Officer John Dietlin in West Bath on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

4/19 Bryant Hutchins, 42, of Middle Road, Edgecomb, was issued a summons by Cpl. Garrett Olson on Water Street on a charge of theft by deception.

4/21 Nicholas Duffy, 34, of Davenport Circle, was issued a summons by Officer Devin Hook on Davenport Circle on a charge of obstructing the report of a crime.

4/22 Gregory McEwan, 60, of Washington Street, was issued a summons by Officer John Dietlin on Washington Street on a charge of operating without a license more than 90 days.

4/28 Christopher Gillespie Jr., 27, of High Street, was issued a summons by Officer John Dietlin on High Street on a charge of operating after suspension.

Two dozen arrested at BIW destroyer launch 

Police arrested 25 people on a charge of obstructing a public way during Bath Iron Works’ christening of the U.S.S. Lyndon B. Johnson on April 27.

According to local police, around 9:30 a.m. between 50-75 protesters of the ceremony lined up along sidewalks on both sides of Washington Street, near King Street. When some entered the road in order to block it, officers apprehended those who refused to leave the street, according to Bath Police press release.
