FREEPORT – Jean Campbell Paradis, 94, passed away on June 20, 2019. The daughter of Leslie and Mildred (Flemming) Campbell, she was born in Calais on Aug. 6, 1924. After school, she worked as a bookkeeper for Frank Goodwin Chevrolet in Brunswick. When she was not working, she enjoyed knitting and fly-fishing. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Brunswick. She enjoyed her camp in Kennebago and even wrote a book about the history of the area. She was known for her good sense of humor and her quick tongue. She was very kind and was a grandmother to all.

She was predeceased by her brother, Blaine “Bud” Campbell.

She is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Reginald Paradis of Freeport; her daughter, Judith Calkin and her husband, Arthur of Manchester; her grandchildren, Todd Calkin and his wife, Denise, Scott Calkin and his wife, Pat Rossi and Candice Rinaldi and her husband, Marty. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Tucker, Whitney, Paige, Taylor, and Hannah.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 28 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
