Roberta A. O’Neil

1942 – 2019 BRUNSWICK – Roberta A. O’Neil, 76, died of complications of Lewy Body Dementia on Aug. 15, 2019, in Brunswick.

Roberta, “Bobbi” / “Bert”, is survived by sisters, Joan Watkins of Falmouth, Mass., and Karen O’Neil of Stowe, Mass., and daughters, Sharon Cleveland of Colebrook, N.H. and Brunswick, Maine, Valerie Flanagan and her son-in-law, David, Flanagan of Brunswick, Maine, and Michelle Greene of Colorado Springs, Colo. Also, her ex-husband, Malcolm L. Greene Jr. of Bow, N.H., nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bobbi was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Sommerville, Mass., to parents, Charles and Margaret (Hennessey) Sweet. Bobbi earned her RN and started her career at the Boston Children’s Hospital. After working a variety of nursing jobs, she retired from Tewksbury State Hospital, Mass.

Throughout her compassionate life, Bobbi loved children. She cherished time with family and friends, especially if it included travel or adventure. She was a gifted painter and excelled at needlepoint. With a passion for gardening and nature, she was always surrounded by plants and animals. As a dedicated Catholic and lover of music, Bobbi enjoyed years of choir singing, charitable works and prayer.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 31, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick, with a luncheon reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

Her family members are very thankful to all of you who extended support over the years.
