AUGUSTA – Beverly Mae (Fraser) Jope, formally of Bowdoin, 87, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at Glenridge Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care Facility in Augusta.   
She was born May 22, 1932 in Somerville Mass. to Walton and Alda (Wagner) Fraser, and graduated from Stoughton High, Stoughton Mass. in 1950. On July 16, 1952 she married her love, Clifford Jope, who predeceased her Sept. 26, 2006.   
As a home maker, Beverly raised five daughters, loved to can fresh vegetables and fruits grown in the family garden. In her spare time, she liked to sew and knit.  
Beverly is predeceased by her parents, Walton and Alda Fraser; her grandson, David Clifford Inglis; and her son-in-law, William Lavoie.  
She is survived by her five daughters, Gail Huddy of South Deerfield Mass., Wendy Inglis and her husband, David of Readfield, Patricia Lavoie of Lewiston, Heidi Weatherford and her husband, Rob of Readfield and Lisa Freeman and her husband, Jim of Bowdoin; her sisters, Joanne Jacobs of New Hampshire, Margret Wilson of Florida,  Linda Nelson of Vermont and Susan Jacobs of Florida; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.   
Private funeral services will be held.
