Declan Archer of Kennebunk is the son of Norm and Grainne Archer. While at KHS, Archer was a member of the varsity soccer and tennis teams. He was a three-year captain, as well as a three time All-State tennis player. Additionally, Archer was a member of the National Honor Society and the recipient of the Rensselaer Medal Award. Archer will be attending Wake Forest University in North Carolina where he plans to study biomedical engineering.

Mia Banglmaier of Kennebunk, the daughter of Sian Liem and Robert Banglmaier, is the salutatorian of her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Executive Council, and Model State. She played varsity lacrosse and was recognized as a member of the All-State team and as an Academic All-American. She participated in cross country and alpine skiing. Mia will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to study biomedical engineering and play varsity lacrosse.

Ryan Connors of Kennebunk, son of Tim and Sharon Connors, is a member of the National Honor Society and Model State. He was the recipient of the Harvard Book Award and is an Eagle Scout. Ryan competed on the baseball, basketball, and indoor track teams. A captain of the football team, he made the PPH All-State team and was a Fitzpatrick Award semifinalist. Ryan will be majoring in mechanical engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Miranda Durcan of Kennebunkport is the daughter of Tracy and Mark Durcan. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was awarded the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Maine Award as a junior. She is a member of Peer Helpers and mentors first graders in reading with Teen Trendsetters. She played varsity soccer for four years, received the KHS Athletics Commitment to Excellence Award, earned SMAA All-Conference honors and was a two-year captain. She will attend Colgate University in the fall.

Ethan Eickmann, the son of James and Elizabeth Eickmann of Kennebunk, is the valedictorian of Kennebunk High School, the co-president of Kennebunk’s National Honor Society and the captain of Kennebunk’s cross-country and track and field teams. Ethan also participated in Debate, Mock Trial, and Model UN. He will be attending Columbia University to study biology.

Isabel Fontaine of Kennebunk is the daughter of Emily and S.R. Fontaine. A member of the varsity ski team (captain), Fontaine earned SMAA All Conference, All-Academic, and MVP for 3 years. She ran cross country (captain) and received the coaches’ award, and played lacrosse. Izzy founded and carried out her Girls Ski Program throughout high school. A member of NHS, Model State and recipient of the Yale Book Award, she will attend St. Lawrence University as a Momentum Scholar and plans to study neuroscience.

Emily Hogue of Kennebunk, daughter of Marie and Laurence Hogue, is an NHS member and scholar-athlete. Hogue has played varsity basketball and softball for her entire KHS career. Senior year, she qualified for the All-Academic team for both cross-country and basketball and earned the Coach’s Award for basketball. Next fall, Emily will be attending Clark University, where she plans on double majoring in biology and psychology. She has committed to play softball at Clark.

Henry Kindler is the son of Edwin and Elva Kindler of Kennebunk. He is an Eagle Scout, a National Merit Commended Scholar and a National Hispanic Scholar. Henry is a recipient of the Cornell Book Award, as well as the diocesan St. Timothy Award. He is a member of the KHS theater program, the KHS Chamber Singers, and the Holy Spirit Parish Youth Ministry. Henry will attend the University of Maine in Orono this fall.

Andrew Ladd of Kennebunk is the son of Steven and Julia Ladd. Ladd participated for four years in the math team and track and field. As captain of the track team his senior year, he qualified for nationals in the high jump. Additionally, he received the Rensselaer Medal Award. Ladd will be attending the University of Pittsburgh to study engineering.

Meghan Lynch of Kennebunk, daughter of Joanne Kenny-Lynch and Michael Lynch, has enjoyed being a member of the tennis team for two years and was the recipient of the JV Coach’s Award in her junior year. She additionally participated for three years in JV and varsity soccer. Meghan is a member of the National Honor Society and received the Scholastic Art Silver Key Award. She will study pre-veterinary science at University of New Hampshire in the fall.

Michaela Machulis of Kennebunk is the daughter of Joyce and Richard Machulis. She has danced at Sharon Arnold Lux School of Dance for 13 years. The hip hop dance team she is on attended nationals twice during her high school career, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Boston. Michaela will be attending Roger Williams University to double major in French and a yet-to-be- determined second major.

Haley Moody of Wells, daughter of Patrick and Amy Moody, is the recipient of the MPA’s Principals’ Award. Moody was a member of Captains’ Club, Peer Helpers and National Honor Society. She played varsity field hockey and lacrosse and was a member of the Unified Basketball team. Haley will be attending Springfield College where she will play lacrosse and study physical education with a plan to earn a master’s in athletic administration.

Ellen Neale is the daughter of Scott and Erin Neale of Kennebunk. She participated in four years of basketball and received both Most Improved and Coach’s Award. She also qualified for the SMAA All-Academic Team. Neale received recognition as a Commended National Merit Scholar. She participated in multiple other clubs and activities at Kennebunk High School as well. Neale plans to study business/sports management in the Honors College at the University of Connecticut this fall.

Emma Pelletier of Kennebunk is the daughter of Matt and Erin Pelletier. She participated in cross country, women’s lacrosse, and ski racing. She attended the state championship for skiing four years in a row and captained the team her senior year. She is also in the National Honor Society and was a member of both the Captain’s Club and the Environmental Action Team. Emma will be attending Saint Anselm College in the fall to be a part of the nursing honors program.

Logan Strauss of Kennebunkport is the son of Joe Strauss, Jay Knudsen, Erica Knudsen, and Elaine Strauss. While at KHS, Strauss was a member of the varsity soccer team, varsity basketball team, varsity tennis team, and is a four-year academic scholar. Additionally he was a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Helpers, and Student Council. Strauss will be attending Bates College in Lewiston to study biology along the pre-med track.

Sarah Weaver is the daughter of Maureen Adams of Kennebunkport and Dan Weaver of Kennebunk. While at KHS she participated in soccer, cross country and track and field. Sarah was an active member of Peer Helpers, Girl Talk and Yearbook Club, as well as a volunteer for many other community service projects. She is the recipient of the Society of Women Engineers award for excellence in Science and Mathematics, KHS Scholar Athlete Awards,and AP Scholar Award. Sarah will be attending Villanova University this fall with a major in chemical engineering and a minor in sustainability studies.

Allie Wuerthner of Arundel is the daughter of Pamela and Scout Wuerthner. Allie contributed to the community volunteering with Captains Club, Executive Council, National Honors Society, Special Surfers, and as a junior volunteer at the Maine Medical Center. At Kennebunk High School Allie enjoyed four years of field hockey, indoor track, and lacrosse and received the SMAA Citizenship Award. Allie will be attending Connecticut College pursuing a career in medicine.
