Victor A. Morency
OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Victor A. Morency, 91, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Jan. 30, 2021, after a long illness.
Victor entered the United States Army where he served as coreman/medic in a Mash Unit in Korea. After Korea, he decided to join the United States Air Force and was fortunate to travel around the world. This is where he met his future wife. Madeleine Delaveau.
After the service, Victor was employed by the United States Postal Service in Fairfield, retiring in 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Madeleine Morency; his daughters, Marianne Fleischmann and husband Michael and Dominique Hopkins; his grandson Michael Fleischmann and his wife Sarah; and great- grandson Michael III.
Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m., the same day, at St. Margaret’s Church. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
