Dennis F. King
LEXINGTON, Va. – Dennis F. King, 84, a long time resident of Falmouth, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2021 in his Virginia home.
He had retired from the Falmouth school department as a school bus driver, a job that he loved and was dedicated to. Dennis was known and loved by all, especially the many students and parents whose lives he touched, never missing a graduation or a senior supper! He was also truly admired by the scores of kids, as well as the coaches of the Falmouth track team, where he volunteered much of his time.
He was predeceased by his wife Nancy of Falmouth and his brother Peter of North Carolina.
He is survived by his brother, Bo of Virginia, sister, Ann of North Carolina; sons, Meade, Scott and Ross; as well as four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Falmouth at a date to be determined.
