Rudolph “Rudy” Joseph Kroc
NAPLES – On Monday, Feb. 9, 2021, Rudolph “Rudy” Joseph Kroc passed away at the age of 79.
Rudy was born in Excelsior, Minn. on Sept. 3, 1941. After high school, Rudy attended the University of Minnesota and eventually joined the Air Force. While stationed in Maine, he married Sharon Ann Brown, and lived on Thompson’s Point in Naples, where they raised two sons, Karl and Kris.
Rudy owned several rental properties and was beloved at the Point for being kind, friendly, and helpful to the community. He had a passion for dirt bikes, classic cars and El Caminos.
Rudy was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon. He is survived by his two children, Karl and Kris; and his sister, Rosemary.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15 at the Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd. in Casco. Because of the virus, masks will be required and recognition of distancing will be as well. Interment in the spring will be at the Kroc Family Cemetery.
