Diane E. (Cushing) Maxim

WHITEFIELD – Diane E. (Cushing) Maxim of Whitefield, passed away on Feb. 13, 2021. She was born at home in Lancaster, Mass., the daughter of Edward and Eleanor Cushing, and married to Winfield L. Maxim until his death in 1993.

She leaves her brother, Ronald T. Cushing and his wife, Mercedes, of Clermont, Fla., her sister, Deborah G. Zinkievich and her husband, Michael, of Oxford, Mass., her sister-in-law, Ruth E. Cushing, of Whitefield, with whom she lived for some time; two nephews and eight nieces; as well as grandnephews and nieces.

Her brother, Jonathan E. Cushing, predeceased her in 1988.

A special thank you to Ruth Cushing, Diane’s nephew, Jay, and niece, Sabrina for their loving care as well as the kind and diligent staff of Maine General LTC at Gray Birch.

She was a member o the Kennebunk Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years and leaves many friends there and in the Saco area. She moved and became a member of the Augusta East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was active in the Christian ministry all her life and firmly believed in the hope the Bible contains of a resurrection to life on earth under God’s Kingdom.

Diane had requested that there be no funeral arrangements.
