Robert W. “Bob” Taylor, 73 years, a resident of Portland Road, Arundel, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021 at his home.

Bob was born in Biddeford, on Dec. 12, 1947 a son of Harvey W. and Elizabeth (Wimberly) Taylor and graduated from Kennebunk High School. He served the United States Coast Guard from 1967 to 1971.

Bob owned and operated his business, Taylor’s Truck and Diesel for over 30 years.

He most enjoyed spending time friends in his shop and spending time with close family whenever he was able to. A life-long tinkerer, there was little he couldn’t fix and there was always a project he was working on. Whether out at sea, under the hood, on the ground or maybe in the air, he loved what he did and always tried to help out whenever he could.

When he took a break from the shop, he was avid snowmobiler where he enjoyed riding his Ski-Doo snowmobile on the Aroostook County Trails.

A kind and mild-mannered man with a big heart, he was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
