Raymond “Skip” Tremblay

WESTBROOK – To say Raymond “Skip” Tremblay was loved by many is an understatement. His sudden passing early March 2, 2021 leaves a hole in so many lives.Skip was known to be especially thoughtful, loyal and would move mountains for those he loved, especially his three girls, his lifelong friends he met as a child in the Merrimack Valley, and the friends he met through his love of wine, music, and nature. He is survived by his partner of 20 years, Becky Drew; his two daughters, Julia and Emma Tremblay; and his beloved dogs, Walden and Hunter. He is preceded by his mother Shirley Tremblay, father Raymond Tremblay; and sister, Shirley Barbagallo.Although Ray wasn’t especially religious, he was spiritual. He spent many Sundays at what he called, “the church of the blue dome” outside surrounded by nature and those he loved. With everything happening in the world right now, no services are currently being scheduled. If you would like to honor him, take a hike, listen to some vinyl, or enjoy a nice glass of wine.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Jimmy Fund in his name at danafarber.jimmyfund.org.
