Paul R. L’Heureux

WATERBORO – Paul L’Heureux, 72, of Cody Lane passed away Friday April 16, 2021 at his residence, unexpectedly. He was born in Biddeford May 7, 1948, the son of Leopold and Gertrude Cyr L’Heureux.

He attended local schools and graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in 1966. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam Conflict. After his service, he returned home and worked for over 30 years as a lineman for New England Tel and Tel.

In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, helping any one that needed a hand and having his daily routine around the Town of Waterboro. He will be missed by all that knew him. Paul also provided extra help at the Lakeside Store in Waterboro.

Paul enjoyed golf and played at the Salmon Falls Country Club, where he kept scores for the Men’s League.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pam McLeod L’Heureux of Waterboro; a son, Jason L’Heureux of Waterboro, a daughter, Robyn L’Heureux of Waterboro; three brothers, Leo L’Heureux of Denmark, Mike L’Heureux of China and wife Dee, and Gary L’Heureux of Old Orchard Beach and wife Nancy, three sisters Joyce Smith of Old Orchard Beach and husband Ricky, Barbara Willey of Denmark and husband David, and Sue Gauthier of Old Orchard Beach and husband Ted; and two grandchildren, Logan and Cody Provencher of Waterboro.

A graveside service, with U.S. Army military honors will be held Monday April 26 at 1 p.m. at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, 83 Stanley Rd., Springvale.

Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home 13 Portland Rd., Buxton (Bar Mills) are entrusted with his services.
