Roland J. Cloutier

OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Roland J. Cloutier 68, passed away April 20, 2021, at Gosnell, after a long illness. He was born in Biddeford on June 7, 1952, the son of Andre and Martha (McDermitt) Cloutier.

Roland graduated from Thornton Academy and SMVTI. He was a master electrician and a master plumber. He owned RJC Plumbing and Electrical for many years. He was active in the Eagles and Elks. Roland was the co-developer and helped build the Astrosphere and the Haunted House at Funtown. He also had a passion for racing, he would race at Beech Ridge on the weekends and work on his car all week to get ready for the next race. He also loved listening to WPOR’s country music.

Roland was predeceased by his parents; and siblings Richard, James and Marylou.

He is survived by daughters Michelle Cloutier and Cheryl Hamilton; brothers Stephen Cloutier and Donald Cloutier, sisters Susan Jones, Blanche Cloutier and Rachel Chick; his girlfriend, Faith Simpson and her son Joe; as well as five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in New Hampshire later this summer. Dennett Craig and Pate Funeral Home, Saco is entrusted with his arrangements
