FREEPORT — Anthony Panciocco went 3 for 4 and scored three runs, and Nathan Abbott was 3 for 4 with three RBI as Freeport remained undefeated with a 12-6 baseball win Friday against Morse.

Morse (1-2) took a 4-3 lead with four runs in the top of the third inning, paced by Gabe Aucoin’s two-run double, but the Falcons (8-0) answered with five in the bottom half.

Brogan Shaw was 2 for 2 with a two-run homer for Morse.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Dylan Henry singled to lead off the bottom of the sixth and scored the go-ahead run on a double play as the Patriots (2-5) edged the Seagulls (4-4) in Gray.

Conner Saunders singled home Ben Wildes to give the Patriots a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Old Orchard Beach tied it in the fourth when Andrew Charron singled and eventually scored on a groundout.

EDWARD LITTLE 9, MT. ARARAT 4: Jack Keefe had two doubles and three RBI for the Red Eddies (5-1) in a win over the Eagles (1-4) in Topsham.

Kamden Masselli added a triple and two RBI, while Chase Martin had a double and two RBI.

BUCKSPORT 8, OCEANSIDE 0: Ty Giberson threw a four-hitter, striking out 12 and walking one, to lead the Bucks (5-1) over the Mariners (1-5) at Bucksport.

Cam Rich and Tyler Hallett each had a double and single for Bucksport, while Gavin Holyone added a pair of singles.

SOFTBALL

WINDHAM 15, GORHAM 3: Brooke Gerry, Ella Wilcox, Jaydn Kimball and Ellie Wilson each had two hits and two RBI for the Eagles (4-2) in a six-inning win over the Rams (3-2) in Gorham.

Gerry reached base five times and scored three runs. She was also the winning pitcher, finishing with 11 strikeouts.

Amber Bretton had a triple and a single for Gorham.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 14, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Madison Pelletier pitched a two-hitter, and Maisie Lerette and Morgan Curtis each had four hits and three RBI to lead the Patriots (5-1) past the Seagulls (0-6) in Gray.

Lerette collected a home run, a double and two singles, while Curtis had a double and three singles. Heather Nevells doubled and drove in two runs.

MORSE 12, FREEPORT 0: Abby Carpenter hit a home run and a double, while Camdyn Johnson threw a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks as the Shipbuilders (2-1) blanked the Falcons (0-6) at Freeport.

Brooke Kulis reached base four times and scored three runs.

MARSHWOOD, KENNEBUNK SPLIT: Matteson Orendorf blasted a two-run homer to power a six-run first inning as Kennebunk (3-3) earned a doubleheader split with a 13-10 win over Marshwood (6-1) at Kennebunk.

Emma Labrecque homered in both games for Marshwood, which scored seven runs in the second inning on the way to a 19-8 victory in Game 1. Sophie Mitchell had a single and a double for the Hawks in the opener, and Lindsay Bennett collected three hits in Game 2.

LAKE REGION, FRYEBURG ACADEMY SPLIT: Kylie Myers and Hailey Gove hit back-to-back RBI singles during a four-run sixth inning as Lake Region (3-5) rallied for a 7-5 win and a doubleheader split at Fryeburg (5-1).

Emily Rock led Lake Region with three hits in Game 2.

Fryeburg’s Morgan Fusco went 2 for 4 with a three-run homer and scored twice.

In Game 1, Emilia DeSanctis put Fryeburg ahead with a two-run single in the fourth inning and added an RBI single in the sixth, leading the Raiders to a 5-3 victory.

EDWARD LITTLE 6, MT. ARARAT 2: The Red Eddies (3-3) broke a tie with a four-run seventh inning to beat the Eagles (1-3) in Topsham.

Hannah Smith hit a two-out single in the big inning, then scored her third run of the game on an error. McKenzi Horton’s second RBI single completed the scoring.

Maddy Scott allowed three hits and struck out eight for Edward Little.

Gabby West and Bre Hunter had RBI singles in the sixth inning for Mt. Ararat.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

KENNEBUNK 15, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Sydney Dumas, Lily Schwartzman and Danielle Gassman each tallied three goals and an assist for the Rams (6-0) in a win over the Red Riots (3-2) at Kennebunk.

Ruby Sliwkowski added two goals and two assists.

Barrett Blackman and Abby Trefsger were the goal scorers for South Portland.

WAYNFLETE 6, GORHAM 5: Jess Connors scored two minutes into overtime to give the Flyers (3-2) a win over the Rams (1-3) in Gorham.

Gorham erased a 5-3 deficit on goals by Miranda Chase and Mary DeWitt in the last seven minutes of regulation.

Cece Bliss had two goals for Waynflete. Kate Dupuis scored twice for Gorham.

FALMOUTH 5, THORNTON ACADEMY 3: Eva Clement scored three goals, defender CC Cohen got her first varsity goal and Whitney Adams also scored for Falmouth (5-1) in a win over the visiting Golden Trojans (2-3).

Abby Brown, Hazel Stoddard and Faith Tillotson were the goal scorers for Thornton.

MT. ARARAT 15, LINCOLN ACADEMY 3: Elsa Daulerio and Maddi Kinney scored three goals apiece for Mt. Ararat (2-2) in a win over Lincoln at Newcastle.

Cecelia Greenleaf added a pair of goals.

Amanda Perkins scored twice for Lincoln. Josie Henry got the other goal.
