SOUTH PORTLAND – Alice K. Gagne, 77, of Riverplace Drive passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Barron Center in Portland following a long illness.
Alice was born in Portland on May 14, 1944, the daughter of the late Richard B. and Mary B. (Fox) Kelley. She attended Cathedral High School and graduated in the class of 1962 and then furthered her education at the Maine Medical Center School of Radiology.
On Sept., 17, 1966, Alice married the love of her life, Roland D. Gagne Jr., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in South Portland.

In her spare time Alice loved to crochet, she loved tending to her flower gardens, enjoyed time camping with Roland and the family, walking the boulevard in Portland and she loved Stephen King novels.
She has great memories of her travels with Roland to Wyoming, Colorado, and, her favorite trip, to Ireland. Alice was a proud 25-year Breast Cancer Survivor. She loved the time spent with her children and granddaughters. Alice will be remembered as a calm loving person with a bit of an Irish temper.
