GORHAM – Pamela J. Kay, of Gorham, died unexpectedly on Jan. 6, 2022 in her home in Gorham. She was born on Jan. 22, 1947 in Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of Kenneth J. and Evelyn (Wilson) Kay.

Pamela grew up in Fairfield, Conn. graduating from Andrew Warde High School in 1965. She attended the University of Maine Orono and University of Bridgeport where she studied Gerontology which became her career. She worked for senior services first in the town of Fairfield, Conn., then onto Social Services Coordinator at the Baldwin Center in the town of Stratford, Conn.

She enjoyed many summers at the beach of the family’s summer home on Sebago Lake with family and friends. At the time of her death, she had just completed chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer, successfully reducing the cancer.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Bruce W. Kay, Esq. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth A. Kay.
