John B. Golding
POWNAL – John B. Golding, 93, died on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 surrounded by loved ones at Gosnell Hospice.
John was born in Portland on Jan. 9, 1929 to Lillian M. Smith and William B. Golding.
He is survived by his children Janice Litchfield, and her husband Stephen of Pownal and son, John B. Golding II of Freeport; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. John is survived by sisters Dorothy Litchfield and Wilma Ryder.
John is predeceased by siblings Arlene Smith, Rosetta Vermette, Elizabeth Dobson, Evelyn Brine, Eugene, James, Malcolm, and Thomas Golding.
At his request there will be a graveside service in the spring for extended family and friends.
