Robert J. Arsenault

PORTLAND – Robert J. Arsenault, 81, known to beloved family and friends as “Bobby” and “Q-Man”, peacefully passed away at The Barron Center on Jan. 18, 2022 from complications of COPD. His devoted wife of 41 years, Karen, was by his side.

A graduate of North Yarmouth Academy, Bob was a free spirited music lover, outdoor lover, and party lover. After years working in the advertising business in Portland, Bob retired with Karen to spend winters at their home in Costa Rica. Over the years he could be heard singing and playing the guitar, banjo, ukulele, and keyboards with his many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Dr. A.A. Arsenault and Rose Arsenault of Yarmouth; two brothers, Joseph and Arthur, and one sister, Betty.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, a resident of Casco Inn, Casco; his sister, Rosemary Fetter, of Bradenton, Fla.; daughters Melissa, of Keswick, Va. (John) and Cindy, of Gray, (Steve), son, John Moody of Richmond; and five granddaughters.

The family would like to thank the special nurses, CNAs, social workers, and staff who cared for Bob over the last several years. The family plans a private burial. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.funeralalternatives.net
