Pauline Laverriere

BIDDEFORD — Pauline Laverriere, 90, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on July 27, 2022.

Pauline was born in Plainfield, Connecticut, in December of 1931, first born to Oscar and Florence (Roy) Labrie.  She was educated in the Plainfield school system until the age of 13 when her family relocated to New Hampshire, and eventually settling in the Biddeford–Saco area, where she completed her education at Saint Joseph’s school.

Pauline was an uncomplicated woman who was perpetually cheerful with the sunniest of dispositions.  She was content to sit on her front porch with a word search puzzlebook in hand while enjoying a cup of coffee with Leo.

Pauline was fortunate to have enjoyed 28 years of retirement bliss.  She and Leo reveled in traveling, dining out, family celebrations and fellowship at the Ross Community Center.

She was well known for buying treats and surprises for neighborhood children.  She was remarkably generous in spirit and deeds.  Her warm caring nature and big heart were felt by all who knew her.  Most of all, Pauline loved being surrounded by her family, enjoying too many laughs and countless amazing meals.
