Help me and the rest of Windham understand why gas prices in Windham are always among the highest in the area, and why gas stations in town are the first to raise prices and the last and slowest to lower them. I challenge local gas station owners to explain themselves.Gas prices have been dropping in Maine, but very slowly, if at all, in Windham. The average price in Maine is now around $4.55, yet in Windham it is still almost $4.70. Why? Many see this as price gouging, so a detailed explanation by the station owners is requested.

Channel 13 just had a segment on this and advised that distance from the ports where the gas comes into Maine would only add a few cents to the cost of a gallon of gas. So why the big difference?I am challenging the owners to explain themselves to the people of Windham.
