Joyce A. Ladderbush
BIDDEFORD — Joyce A. Ladderbush passed away on Aug. 1, 2022, from a sudden injury.
Joyce was born in Biddeford, Maine, at the Trull Hospital on April 11, 1939. She was the daughter of Lewis and Regina Deinstadt. She was in the Biddeford High School Class of 1956. She was a graduate of Comptomitor School in Portland and worked at NE Telephone until her marriage.
She married Robert Ladderbush in 1959. She was a wife and mother to two children, Lori and David. She had several jobs in their childhood years; working at the Biddeford lunch program, Saga Foods, and as head bookkeeper at Thornton Academy until her retirement in 1997. She was an outgoing and sociable woman and loved to laugh, garden, watch sports and entertain. She loved her family with a passion and would do anything for them.
She was predeceased by: her parents; her beloved husband, Bob in 2006; and her son, David in 2015. She is survived by: her loving daughter, Lori Forbes of Biddeford; her devoted grandson, Matthew Ladderbush of Biddeford; her grandson, Daniel Ladderbush of Fayetteville, Maine; two great-grandchildren, David and Daisy of Fayetteville, Maine; her sister, Carole Webster of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
She wished to be cremated and placed in the gravesite with her husband and son. There will not be any services but a celebration of her life in the coming weeks. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, Maine.
