Richard “Dick” Levesque

WINDHAM – Richard “Dick” Levesque, 86, of Windham, died on August 3, 2022, with his family by his side. He was born August 6, 1935 to his parents, J. Napoleon and Verna (Libby) Levesque in Westbrook. Dick grew up in Westbrook, and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1953. After graduation, he went on to sell industrial paper equipment. Dick was known as an avid runner, and ran in four marathons. He was a diehard Chicago Bears fan (even in the bad seasons, of which there were many), he enjoyed traveling, and reading. Due to his line of work, he has lived in several states throughout the US.

He is survived by his wife, Jane and his children: Francine (Brian) Brown, Peter (Nancy) Levesque, Craig Levesque, Roger (Jeri) Levesque, John (Ina) Levesque, Michele (Chris) Cantera, Rebecca (Charles) Sirna. He leaves behind ten grandchildren: Lori Brown, Chris Brown, Sean Levesque, Chelsea Coollupy, Sara Coyne, Sydney Levesque, Andrew Nelson, John Philip Nelson, Taylor Schultz, and Seth Kirk. He also has ten great grandchildren. Also survived by his step children Michael Cote, Steven Cote and Linda Barbera.

He is predeceased by his infant son, Paul, and his siblings Marie and James. He was also the the proud dog dad to Skookie who passed recently. The family has elected to have a small, graveside service at St Hyacinth Cemetery, on Aug. 10, 2022 at 11 a.m., and he will be laid to rest beside his son Paul.
