Dorothy Evelyn DiBiase

PORTLAND – Dorothy Evelyn DiBiase, 88, beloved wife of John DiBiase, died on August 12, 2022. She was born in Damariscotta on Feb. 27, 1934, the daughter of Leroy and Nellie (Sidelinger) Curtis.

Dorothy was a graduate of Portland High School class of 1952. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose grandchildren could do no wrong. She enjoyed the beach, dancing, spoon collecting, spending time by the pool in the sun, spending winters in Florida, gathering with friends, and loved all animals.

She was predeceased by her parents; and five siblings.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children John C. DiBiase (Elizabeth), Victoria D. Lamontagne (Roger), Nancy M. Walker (Ervin III); grandchildren Joshua G. DiBiase, Benjamin C. DiBiase, Adam J. Lamontagne, Erin N. Lamontagne, Katherine M. Walker, Samuel A. Walker, and Matthew D. Walker.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Barron Center for all of their care.

A visitation will be held 12 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 17 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland, ME 04102, where a funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial at Calvary Cemetery South Portland will immediately follow.
