Colleen T. Lydon, 70 years, a resident of Clearwater, Florida, and Kennebunk, formerly of New York City, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022.

Colleen was born Feb. 12, 1952, in New York City, a daughter of Thomas D. and Maureen (Moran) Lydon. She graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a bachelor’s degree in business. She worked at Moran’s Restaurant in New York City for 40 years, retiring in 2018.

In 1984 she married her husband, Kenneth Strum and together they raised their daughter, Kelly Ann Strum. Colleen enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family.

She was predeceased by her mother, Maureen Lydon, who passed in 1994, and her brother Daniel, who passed away in 2017.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 38 years, Ken Strum of Clearwater and Kennebunk; her father, Thomas Lydon of Amagansett, New York; daughter Kelly Ann Strum and her fiancé Alan-Michael Freeman of Kennebunk; brothers, Kevin Lydon of Clearwater, and Brian Lydon, of East Hampton, New York; and grandson, Eligh Alan Freeman of Kennebunk.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 30 Portland Road, Kennebunk, followed by a reception at Bibber Memorial Chapel. Private interment at Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk.
