Diane C. Sikorski

Diane C. Sikorski 1953 – 2022 TOPSHAM – Diane C. Sikorski, 68, of Topsham, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, peacefully at her home. Diane was born in Hartford, Conn. on Dec. 13, 1953 to Leslie L. Newton, Jr. and Marion L. Newton (Hiltz) of Cape Elizabeth. Diane attended Cape Elizabeth High School where she graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. Diane married Paul D. Sikorski, Jr. in 1994 in Laurelville, Ohio whom she shared a wonderful life together of 28 years. She worked as a legal secretary for prestigious law firms for 41 years, a career she loved, was very successful at, and proud of. Diane was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Brunswick, and a member of the Topsham Brunswick Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR/DAR). Diane was an avid reader, loved cooking for her family, loved the ocean, the Portland Headlight and everything Maine. Diane was a free spirit who enjoyed life. She lit up a room with her great sense of humor, outgoing personality, and captivating smile. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Leslie L. Newton, Jr. and Marion L. (Hiltz) Newton; her son, Craig Berry; her grandson, Jaxson Berry. Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Paul D. Sikorski, Jr.; her children Paul D. Sikorski, III, Keith Cameron, Caitlyn DeBoard; her seven grandchildren; and her cousins Lisa Newton Kozikowski, Kim Steele, and Jeffrey D. Newton. Visitation services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. Pastor Mark Rockwood of Berean Baptist Church will lead a brief service at the beginning of visiting hours.
