
Earl Ronald “Ron” Chase
MCCAYSVILLE, Ga. – Earl Ronald “Ron” Chase, 70, of McCaysville, Ga. died suddenly Oct. 13, 2022 in an automobile accident.
Ron was born Aug. 2, 1952 in Paducah, Ky., one of five sons and one daughter born to the late Roy B. Chase of Presque Isle and Capitola M. Reynolds of Buxton.
Ron attended schools in both Gorham and Sanford and lived for many years in West Hartford, Conn. where he worked as a self employed carpenter. Ron loved spending time with his family, working around the house doing repairs and remodeling projects, and enjoyed music. He lived the past several years in McCaysville, Ga. in the Great Smokey Mountains with his fiancée, Patricia Gagne.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Terrance of Buxton and James of Tacoma, Wash.; and his son, Wade Cole.
Survivors include his daughter, Lorrie Monoski of Naples, Fla.; sister, Patricia Newhall of Wildwood, Fla., two brothers, Lee Chase of Sanford and Roy “Bunk” Chase of Limington; he also leaves many grandchildren; cousins; and friends to cherish his memory.
