Samuel Burton Tome 1950 – 2022 BOWDOINHAM – Samuel Burton Tome, 72, of Bowdoinham, died on Oct. 23, 2022 at his home. He was born on Jan. 16, 1950. Sam was a loving son, brother, and friend. He served on the Bowdoinham Cemetery Committee, which he enjoyed. He had a passion for building and racing canoes. Sam competed in races for many years, all over New England and Pennsylvania. Sam was predeceased by his mother, Louise Allen Parker and father, John B. Tome, stepmother, Hazel Tome; and brother, John W. Tome. He is survived by two stepsisters, Anne Kellett of Richmond, Sarah Grey of Rockland; several cousins, aunts and uncles. There will be no funeral services per his request. Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home 130 Pleasant St. Richmond, ME 04357.
