WINDHAM – Richard Finnerty, 89, passed away on October 31, 2022. He was born in Portland, July 18, 1933, the son of Trevor and Elna Finnerty.

Richard attended Westbrook schools and served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion Stephen Manchester Post #62, Temple Lodge #86 A.F. &A.M. Masons, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers Local #567. He worked for local electrical contractors retiring in 1995 from Stone and Webster Electrical division.

Richard was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Dawn Jackson Finnerty and a brother Malcolm Finnerty. He is survived by a niece Ann (Michael) LeGage; and a great nephew Michael LeGage, Jr.

Services are private and Richard will be laid to rest next to his wife in Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
