SACO — Doris R. Dube, 94, of Saco died Nov. 12, 2022 at Sealrock Nursing Home in Saco.
She was born in Biddeford on June 8, 1928, daughter of Edmund and Mary (Letellier) Roy. She was educated and graduated from St. Andre High School in Biddeford. On June 26, 1948, she married Roger J. Dube at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
Doris worked many years in Human Resources at the Saco Tanning Corp. and later at the University of New England.
She loved to read and go out with her sister Alice every Friday night until their health didn’t allow it to continue. She truly enjoyed babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by: her husband, Roger of 54 years; one brother, Paul Roy; and three sisters, Arlene Grenier, Annette Gregoire and Alice Paquette.
She is survived by: two sons, Dr. Roger Dube and his wife Jeri of Pittsford, New York, and Robert Dube and his wife Patricia of North Berwick, Maine; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren children; and several nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at 11a.m., at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
