She and her best friend, Dee Dee, never met face to face but were pen pals for 43 years and she knew Dee Dee better than her own family. In her most recent years she has enjoyed her special Sunday playdates with her youngest granddaughter Lacie, and also enjoyed the visits with her great grandson Owen.
