Cookie time

Daisy Troop 163 will sell Girl Scout cookies at various locations around town throughout the month of April.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2, the Daisies will set up shop from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gray Shop and Save at 35 Gray Road.

On April 8, the troop will be at Gray True Value at 97 Shaker Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at Gray First Congregational Church at 5 Brown St. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On April 15, the girls will be selling cookies from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gray Transfer Station at 15 Seagull Drive.

Legion banquet

The American Legion Post 86 at 15 Lewiston Road is hosting a District 2 Past Commanders/Presidents Banquet from 5 to 7 p.m. April 11.  Dinner with prime rib and boneless turkey begins at 6 p.m. District 2 meetings will begin at 7 p.m. and banquet attendees are welcome to stay.

Little League sign-ups open

Registration is open for the Gray-New Gloucester Little League spring season. Uniforms must be ordered by April 8 for preference choices. Scholarships and fee waivers are available. See divisions and more info and sign up at info.gnglittleleague.org.

K-5 floor hockey

Kids in grades K-5 can play floor hockey Saturday, April 1, at Newbegin Gym at 22 Main St. Grades K-2 play from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and grades 3-5 play from 10:45 a.m. to noon. Bring a water bottle and indoor shoes. Register at gngrec.com.

Property taxes due

Gray property tax bills are due by Monday, April 3. Pay online at graymaine.org or visit the municipal complex at 24 Main St.

Town budget workshop

Residents can attend the Gray Town Council meeting on at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, to hear about town budget plans. The final vote is projected for June. Learn more at graymaine.org.
