Randall Scott Plummer

NORTH YARMOUTH – Randall Scott Plummer, 62, of North Yarmouth, peacefully passed away on Sept. 3, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a difficult battle with cancer.

Randy was born on Feb. 7, 1961, to Sally Foster Plummer and Richard Plummer at Mercy Hospital in Portland. Randy graduated from Scarborough High School in 1979 as a proud Redskin. He then received a degree in Business Management and Administration at The University of Southern Maine.

After graduation, he worked in sales for many years, most recently, as a water treatment analyst at Dead River Company and a real estate agent with Keller Williams. Randy was a passionate worker and loved the people he worked with and for.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Randy also loved to fish, golf, garden, and go on snowmobile trips with the guys to the county. He had a passion for sports and art, coaching his kid’s sports teams and running an after-school art camp for kids. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor and positive attitude.

Randy was predeceased by his father, Richard Plummer.

Randy is survived by his son, Christian Plummer and his wife Zoë of Falmouth, his son, Nicholas Plummer and his wife Sydney of Brunswick; his grandsons Theodore and James Plummer; his mother, Sally Howe; two sisters, Julie Cloutier and her husband, Mike, and Jennifer Dadiotes and her husband, Demos; and niece, Jessica Metayer and her husband, Nick.

The Plummer Family would like to thank the amazing staff at Maine Medical Center and Gosnell Memorial House for their loving support during this difficult time.

Visiting hours will be held at Lindquist Funeral Home in Yarmouth on Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at Eastpoint Christian Church in South Portland on Sept. 16 at 2 p.m., followed by a reception at Val Halla Golf Course at 5 p.m.
