Michael Hutchins
East Brown Cow, a Portland-based real estate investment, management and development firm, has hired Michael Hutchins as project architect. In this newly created role, Hutchins will offer design guidance on a project-by-project basis and act as in-house designer for smaller renovation and improvement projects. He has 20 years of experience in residential and commercial design and previously worked for 10 years with Archetype Architects.
Financial services firm Edward Jones has hired Holly Stover as a financial adviser for its Kennebunk office. Stover has four years of experience in the financial services industry.
Matthew Witten
Camden National Bank has hired Matthew Witten as senior vice president, director of information security. With two decades of experience, Witten will be responsible for maintaining the bank’s security while staying ahead of potential threats. He will manage areas of significant risk, including information and cyber security, third-party vendor management, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Most recently, Witten was the chief information security officer for Martin’s Point Health Care for more than eight years.
E2Tech, an organization for Maine’s energy, environmental and clean technology sectors, has hired Eric Howard as its new executive director. Howard’s experience includes five years as head of the Maine Wood Products Association and for 10 years he organized conferences for international scientists and leaders in technology. More recently, he has worked with colleges, universities and businesses on climate action, renewable energy and decarbonization. He was the founding chair of the Maine Technology Institute’s Agriculture and Forestry Advisory Board and a consultant with the Maine Center for Innovation in Biotechnology.

Theresa Mitchell
Theresa Mitchell, a business insurance account manager at Allen Insurance and Financial, recently achieved the designation of Accredited Customer Service Representative in Commercial Lines from The Institutes, an insurance education organization. Mitchell joined Allen in 2016 and is based in the company’s Southwest Harbor office.
