Erik Phenix

Erik Phenix has been promoted to senior project manager at Ransom Consulting in Portland. Phenix has worked at Ransom since 2005, and most recently as a project manager/project geologist. He has over 23 years of experience with hazardous, petroleum and industrial-waste-related assessments as well as brownfields. He is also a Maine licensed geologist, and an EPA-licensed asbestos inspector.

Wes Harden

Wes Harden has been promoted to associate project manager at Ransom Consulting in Portland. Harden joined Ransom in 2022 as a project geologist. With over 19 years of experience, he is a Maine licensed geologist, and an EPA-licensed asbestos inspector.

Daryl Fenton

Daryl Fenton has been promoted to president of Santee Risk Managers, an affiliate of Varney Insurance. He has worked at Santee Risk Managers for five years.

Heidi Olson

Heidi Olson has been promoted to vice president of member engagement, digital services and payments at Town & Country Federal Credit Union. Olson has worked at the credit union for 24 years, with the past 18 years being spent as the member relationship manager.

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson has been promoted to vice president of accounting and finance at Town & Country Federal Credit Union. Johnson joined Town & Country as its accounting manager in 2011

Dr. Kyle A. Murdock

Dr. Kyle A. Murdock has been hired by Maine Prosthodontics as an associate maxillofacial prosthodontist. He is one of only about 50 practicing maxillofacial prosthodontists in the United States. Murdock completed his dental school training at the Medical University of South Carolina, his advanced education in prosthodontics residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his additional training at UAB’s fellowship program in maxillofacial prosthetics and oral oncology.

Paul Bogdanovich has been hired as senior vice president at Alliant Insurance Services’ employee benefits group. Bogdanovich has more than 35 years of insurance industry and sales experience. Before joining Alliant, he was an executive with an insurance, consulting and financial services firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brown University.

Rachel Loomis Lee

Rachel Loomis Lee has been hired as development director at Hurricane Island Outward Bound School. Previously, Loomis Lee worked at the Ah Haa School for the Arts and the American Academy of Bookbinding, was senior philanthropy officer for the Rockland-based Island Institute, the director of advancement for Telluride Mountain School, and served as an event and fundraising consultant for multiple organizations in Telluride.

Ruchir Jaipuriyar

Ruchir Jaipuriyar has been hired as vice president of information technology at MEMIC. Previously, Jaipuriyar worked at RBC Wealth Management in Minneapolis, where he spent seven years as a technology innovator, most recently as director of data services.

Bryan Kotlyar

Bryan Kotlyar has been hired as director of software engineering at MEMIC. Previously, Kotlyar worked as senior director of algorithm engineering for S&P Global Platts in New York City.

Caitlin Harrington

Caitlin Harrington has been hired by Allen Insurance and Financial as a retirement plan coordinator. She has a degree in accounting from the University of Maine and holds the certified professional designation from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Elle Ferris has been hired at The Real Estate Leader’s Scarborough location. Ferris graduated from the University of Maine in Orono. She is a member of the Strafford County Board of Realtors, the Maine Association of Realtors, the Oyster River Girls Lacrosse Boosters, and the Community Gardens of Durham.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The Junior Achievement’s Maine Business Hall of Fame announces new inductees: Lindsay Skilling, CEO, Gifford’s Ice Cream; Stephen M. Smith, President & CEO, L.L.Bean; and the Robbins Family. James A. Robbins, Alden Robbins, Catherine Robbins-Halsted, Jim L. Robbins, and Jenness Robbins, the fourth- and fifth-generation owners of Robbins Lumber, have been recognized by the organization.

Shirar Patterson

Shirar Patterson has been elected by the Maine Association of Nonprofits Board of Directors as board president. Patterson is the president & CEO of Heart of Maine United Way in Bangor, and has served on MANP’s board since 2014.

Meredith Anderson

Meredith Anderson has been elected onto the Maine Association of Nonprofits Board of Directors. Anderson is the community outreach director at Southern Maine Agency on Aging.

Jeffrey Dobson

Jeffrey Dobson has opened Dobson Family Funeral and Cremation Services. Over the last 15 years, Dobson worked at funeral homes in Portland, Saco, Boston  and Dover, New Hampshire. He is a licensed funeral director in Maine and New Hampshire, and a member of the Maine State Board of Funeral Service.
