Laurie Lee Fowler

PORTLAND – Laurie Lee Fowler, 68, died peacefully on Dec. 29, 2023, at Maine Medical Center after a long term illness.

Laurie was one of a kind. She was a devoted wife, mother and most of all, “MeMe”. She was known for her spitfire, life of the party attitude, sense of humor and a laugh that you could feel in your soul. She loved with her whole heart and would do anything for her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother, Elaine Philbrick; and aunt, Carol Daniels.

Laurie is survived by her husband and best friend of 38 years, Frank Fowler; her daughter, Jennifer Albert and husband Andre Albert; and her pride and joy granddaughters Nola and Roslyn; cousin, Carol Ann Crager; the Fowler Family; and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.

The family would like to thank the devoted care givers at the Maine Medical Center, including the doctors and nurses for providing such amazing care and support.

There will be a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.
