Velva Ann Coffman

QUINCY, Fla. – Velva Ann Coffman, 69, of Quincy, Fla., passed away on Jan. 29, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her three loving daughters after an aggressive stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis.

Velva was born on Jan. 29, 1955 in Westbrook, one of five children to Boyd A. Jr. and Gloria D (McDonald) Garner. She attended Westbrook schools.

Velva is survived by her daughters Dawn Winslow of Portland, Ore., Robyn Martinez of Sneads, Fla., Christine Frentz of Newnan, Ga.; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Raymond Garner in Mocksville, N.C.

She was predeceased by her sisters Christine Garner and Joyce Nowden, her brother, Mark Garner; and her parents.
