Bottle drive
The Lake Region High School and Middle School are holding a bottle drive to raise funds to buy new practice equipment for their football teams. The equipment will help make practices safer and reduce the number of full-contact drills, thus limiting the risks of injuries. The bottle drive continues through July 15. Returnable bottles and cans may be dropped off at the Bridgton Redemption Center at 4 Nulty St. Tell the people at the center that the returnables are for “Lake Region football.” Pickup can be arranged for large donations by contacting Coach Ben Mullins at coachbenlrf@gmail.com.
