William Harold Allen Jr.
AUBURN – William Harold Allen, Jr., 65, passed away peacefully at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital in Bridgton on June 17, 2024. He was born in Wyoming on Feb. 13, 1959, a son of William Sr. and Carla (Butts) Allen.
He moved to Maine to help his grandparents on their farm where he worked hard and graduated from Falmouth High School. His friends called him “Alley cat”.
He later became a welder and worked in that industry for 18 years. During that time he had three beautiful girls, Danielle, Michelle and Kelly. They all have fond memories of camping by Saco River, fishing, being outdoors and singing: “All you know is when I’m with you, I make you free”, “Swim through your veins like a fish in the sea”. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, guessing the scores with them and munching on chocolate sweets. He spent many years working for the Yarmouth School Department. He would love on his grand babies Amos, Noah, Winnie, William, Emma, and Bobby any chance he could. William would want everyone to know he was grateful for his time with no regrets.
In addition to his daughters and grandchildren, he is survived by his younger sister, Donna.
Services will be planned for a later date. Please visit http://www.lindquistfuneralhome.com to sign William’s online guest book.
