University Credit Union has hired Lauren Cornelio as a community engagement manager for the Southern Maine region. Previously, Cornelio interned at the Maine International Trade Center where she helped improve international trade for Maine businesses. She has a bachelor’s in communication and a master’s in organizational leadership, both from University of Southern Maine.
Hannah Lilly is the new client manager for Broadreach Public Relations. Previously, Lilly worked in marketing and project management at Colby Company, LLC. She holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Suffolk University.
HealthConnects Networks has hired Amy Anderson as director of account management and Nathaniel Gass as a business analyst and network technician for sister company Mission Broadband. Anderson was director of gift planning for the Salvation Army and holds a bachelor’s in education from University of New Hampshire and a master’s of social work from Rutgers University. Gass was previously a freelance software quality assurance tester and community development director for the electronic sports team, Polar Ace. He has a bachelor’s in computer science from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing his master’s in computer science there as well.
Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty has hired Charlie Stuart as a real estate salesperson in its Damariscotta office. Previously, Stuart was a documentary filmmaker.
Madeleine Saucier has been hired as the first deputy director of Hope Acts. Saucier was the programs and community engagement manager for the Maine Immigrants’ Rights Coalition and has also been a legal analyst at Ford Murray Law. She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a bachelor’s in Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures and a master’s in Migration, Mobility and Development from the University of London.
J. Edward Knight Insurance has welcomed Kayla Hensley as a new licensed property and casualty agent in its Bath office. Hensley previously was employed at Midcoast Hospital. Hensley attended Morse High School and lives in Bath with her family.
Lynn Dziedzic is the new general sales manager for Channel 8 and WMTW. Dziedzic was most recently senior director of sales at WSYM-TV in Lansing, Michigan for eight years. She has a bachelor of science in business administration from Wayne State University for marketing and public relations.
PROMOTIONS
Jackie Curtis has been promoted to senior vice president and senior human resources officer of Norway Savings Bank. Curtis had served as the vice president of human resources since joining the company in 2022. Curtis graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s in business administration.
Disability Rights Maine has promoted Lauren Wille to legal director. Wille became a managing attorney for the organization in 2020 and was a staff attorney for three years before that. Wille has a bachelor’s from Rutger’s University and a juris doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.
GENERAL
The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine has appointed five new members to the board of directors. Keyla Alston-Griffin is the founder of Digital Philanthropy Collective and holds a bachelor’s in marketing and communications from American International College and a master of social work from the University of Southern Maine. Cameron Peden is the senior vice president of people and resource development for United Way of Southern Maine and graduated from Muskingum University and Cleveland State University, where he received a master of public administration with a focus in city management and urbanization. Katie Porter is an employment attorney at Pierce Atwood LLP and a graduate of Tufts University and Hofstra University, where she received her juris doctor. Nonprofit campaign consultant, Rose Splint, is a graduate of Bates College. Maya Williams was Maine’s poet laureate from 2021 to 2024 and holds both a master’s in social work from University of New England and a master’s in fine arts for creative writing with a focus on poetry from Randolph College.
